Linda Gold: Founder, President & CEO

Linda Gold, one of the first women CEOs in Silicon Valley, is President & CEO of M3iworks. Linda founded M3iworks in 1981, and through her strong leadership and clarity of vision, guided the company to its current position as preferred web strategy, design, and development firm in Silicon Valley. Marquis clients include Cisco Systems, Sun Microsystems, SJSU, Community Foundation Silicon Valley and a host of other major technology, education, public sector, and non-profit organizations. Under Linda's leadership, M3iworks has consistently ranked in the SV/SJ Business Journal lists of Top Web Design Firms and Top Women-Owned Businesses, and has earned the Chamber’s “Ebby” award for small business excellence, as well as W3 and Horizon Interactive web design awards.

Linda's passion for community service and quality-of-life issues comes through serving as an active board member of the San Jose Silicon Valley Chamber of Commerce, and as an advisory board member of the YWCA, Girls for a Change, and Women Leading Change. Linda is also active in Downtown San Jose’s Rotary Club, Faces of Hope missions to Guatemala, Sacred Heart Community Service, NAWBO, Women’s High Tech Coalition, and the American Leadership Forum (ALF Class XVII).

Honors include Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Mover of Mountains” award, AFP’s “Distinguished Volunteer Fundraiser, “ SV/SJ Business Journal’s “25 Most Influential Women” and “Women of Distinction” awards, NAWBO’s “Enterprising Woman of the Year” and “Women’s Business Advocate of the Year,” the YWCA’s “Tribute to Women and Industry (TWIN)” award, and the Women’s Initiative’s 20th Anniversary “Pacesetter” award.
