M3iworks Represents Business Climate in Major CEO Summit with Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
M3iworks Joined Top Leaders of Adobe, Applied Materials, HP, Solectron, Synopsys, and Stanford University to Address Key Issues for Silicon Valley's Economic Recovery with Governor
San Jose, CA - February 6, 2004 -- M3iworks today announced that it participated in a CEO summit comprised of top Silicon Valley business leaders, the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group (SVMG), and the governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger, on Feb. 5, 2004.
The summit opened with a closed-door session between the governor and a select group of Silicon Valley executives and academic leaders. It continued with an invitation-only audience of business leaders, dignitaries and press. Various topics were presented and discussed including the economic vitality of Silicon Valley, economic recovery issues and more.
"As one of Silicon Valley's leading small businesses for the past 23 years, M3iworks wants to see the costs of doing business in California reduced while enabling California businesses to remain competitive in a global economy," said Linda Gold. "It was encouraging to see the dialogue between Silicon Valley leaders and Sacramento." However, Linda expressed concern around the absence of ethnic and gender diversity among CEOs represented on stage with the Governor.
Linda Gold is regularly sought out by government and business leaders to represent
the Silicon Valley business climate. She is regularly interviewed
by various media including CNN, Bay Area television, radio and newspapers.
As a board member and fundraiser for numerous non-profits in the
valley, she wants to improve both the business climate and quality
of life here in Silicon Valley.
