Sun Microsystems Calls on M3iworks for Quarterly "Mega Launch"
Each quarter, long-standing M3iworks client Sun Microsystems leverages M3iworks' web design and development team to produce and deliver multiple hardware-product web pages for Sun Microsystems' quarterly product launch. This quarter, the important "Mega Launch" also coincides with Sun's Network Computing 2003-Q3 web event and the Sun Network 2003 conference, requiring close coordination of the external, internal, and event sites and announcements.
To support the extensive product launch and customer events, M3iworks designed, developed, and implemented product pages for half a dozen new low-cost computing systems and more than ten new solution packages offered by Sun. In addition to the external site, M3iworks was tasked with ensuring that the corresponding sales, marketing, and partner intranets were all updated with the new product information.
M3iworks also played a pivotal role in ensuring that the Sun news site at http://sun.com/news/ was kept up-to-date throughout the conference with late-breaking news, video, and press resources.
Each quarter, the Sun Microsystems' web services group leverages M3iworks' expertise and intimate understanding of Sun's web environment and product offerings to ensure the smooth and coordinated delivery of new product pages at the exact moment of the official announcements.
